C.O.R.S installs every custom staircase we design and fabricate. Installation is not subcontracted — the same team that built your staircase installs it. Most residential C.O.R.S staircase installations in Ontario are complete within one day on-site.
What C.O.R.S Installation Includes
- Delivery of all pre-fabricated, pre-finished components to your home
- Floor and adjacent finish protection throughout the installation
- Stringer installation — levelled, aligned, and structurally connected at base plate and top plate
- Tread installation in the confirmed finish sequence
- Railing post installation and glass panel or baluster fitting
- Handrail installation at OBC-confirmed height (865-965 mm above nosing)
- LED lighting wiring confirmation (where applicable)
- Work area clean-up and final completion walkthrough
Why Our Installations Are Fast and Predictable
C.O.R.S dry-fits every staircase in our Ontario workshop before delivery. By the time our crew arrives at your home, every component has already been assembled once and confirmed to fit. Problems are solved in the workshop — not on your floor. This is why our installations are consistently one day and why our clients walk the finished staircase the same evening.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you install staircases that you didn’t fabricate?
No. C.O.R.S installs only staircases fabricated in our own workshop. This is a deliberate policy — we cannot be accountable for the installation of components we did not fabricate and pre-fit.
How long before access between floors is restored during a renovation installation?
Typically 3-4 hours between old staircase removal and new stringer installation. Discuss this with your project manager in advance so you can plan alternative floor access for this window.
What is the warranty on a C.O.R.S staircase installation?
C.O.R.S provides a workmanship warranty covering structural connections, hardware, and finish defects that are attributable to fabrication or installation. Warranty terms are provided in writing at project completion. Normal wear, surface scratches from use, and intentional modifications are not covered.
